Thursday Thirteen!

Here we go....

I recently purchased the Book "Why Do Men Have Nipples?" and here are 13 interesting questions that the book asks....

  1. What causes an ice cream headache?
  2. Does coffee stunt your growth?
  3. Why do you get the munchies when you're stoned?
  4. Should you put a steak on a black eye?
  5. Can you get "scared to death"?
  6. Is there such a thing as a werewolf?
  7. Why do you see stars when you are hit in the head?
  8. What are age spots?
  9. What's up with the ear hair?
  10. Should you starve a cold and feed a fever?
  11. Do microwaves cause cancer?
  12. Why does hair turn gray?
  13. Can you swallow your tongue?

I'll be answering the questions in future blog entries in case you are interested in any of the answers!!! You know how to play...leave a comment, get a link :-) Happy Thursday!

Nurse Beth's playful answers to your questions (Okay I could be wrong on some of these, LOL)

What causes an ice cream headache?
vagal response
Does coffee stunt your growth?
If it does why do I keep growing?
Why do you get the munchies when you're stoned?
Dunno, but it seems to happen when you get drunk too.
Should you put a steak on a black eye?
Yes, the cold will help keep the swelling down.
Can you get "scared to death"?
Sure can!
Is there such a thing as a werewolf?
No
Why do you see stars when you are hit in the head?
Your brains in shock
What are age spots?
Medals of honor.
What's up with the ear hair?
Think it has something to do with protection and conduction of sound.
Should you starve a cold and feed a fever?
NO, it's the other way around.
Do microwaves cause cancer?
Probably
Why does hair turn gray?
Because your children shock you daily, stress you out.
Can you swallow your tongue?
most definitly.

Now will find out how many I was right on. Keep me up to date on it.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

So...what are the answers? Guess I'm going to have to run out and buy or borrow the book. I flipped through it a bit in Borders once and it looked intriguing.

If Carmen wasn't able to help you with Mr. Linky, I probably can too.

Interesting questions, I love the title of that book.
