1. Do you think that hobos still ride on open trains (I always think of the boxcar children when I watch a train go by)
2. Why do you park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?
3. I was rearranging our fridge and freezer to fit more food in and it hit me that the freezer doesn't have a light, but the fridge does...why?
4. Does the alphabet song and twinkle twinkle have the same tune?

5. How is it that I can eat hamburger and pork just fine, but when it comes
to deer hunting, I think that's wrong? (I swear it's the whole Bambi thing)
6. Why is it that we complain about gas prices, but we are still driving huge
SUV's and still drive to a place just down the road? (I'm guilty of it too, but I
just wonder why we don't change something then!)
7. Why is it that I can not seem to stop biting my finger nails...now I do it
without even knowing it and I hate it!!!! (Any suggestions?)
8. Why is it that work goes by soooo slow, but then after work, it's already 10pm?
9. I just took my puppy to the vet for my parents a couple weeks ago and
she HATES it when we blow in her face, but she was more than happy to
put her head out the window on the way to the vet...why is that?
10. (I got this one from my cousin) Why do they call it an asteroid when it’s outside the hemisphere but a hemorrhoid when it is in you ass ?
11. Why is it that everyone visits the blogs on Thursdays, but don't read the
rest of the week? Are we boring the other 6 days?
12. Why is it that we know fast food restaurants are horrible for us, yet we
still find ourselves driving there are a long day at work?
13. Why do people just leave "mine are up" when they comment on your
TT. Can't you find anything to comment on out of these 13 things?

thanks for posting your bleeping T13 - I dropped by earlier and they weren't up and my heart sank a little - not really, but that whole guilt thing works on some. I ponder the whole asteriod thing too - there used to be a show on NPR (national public radio), but it is not on anymore b/c the guy that hosted it died suddenly...anyway, it was called "Everything You Always Wanted to Know". I would tune in every Friday just to hear the random crap other people pondered about just to make myself feel more "sane", now the show is gone and feel completely alone and miserable for that hour on Fridays...ugh. Also, why is it that we are not as interesting on every other day of the week. I mean I think sometimes I really stretch to pull posts out of my (bleep), but c'mon....show some comment love. I know they are visiting - my site meter says so...but no comments.
ROFL @ #13! I've wondered that myself...or when people visit from Michele's, sometimes all they say is Hi, Michele sent me. C'mon...

I think dogs don't like getting blown on their face because it's a sign of aggression. That's just my guess though- lots of interesting things to ponder tho!

Hi! actually, I've been trying to make a point to visit everyone through the week- but sometimes it's amazing how quickly Thursdays come up. of the probably 50 comments today I have left- only once did I say "great list' but it was a really hard list to comment about. and my freezer does have a light
#4, so does Baa, Baa Black Sheep.
I bite my nails. There've only been a couple of times in my life that I didn't. Once when a co-worker heard me complaining about how they looked and said, "Well, just stop biting them!" For some odd reason that worked for about a year!

When I see open train cars, I think of the kids riding to the North Pole with Frosty the Snowman. :)

I agree with #13 - that bugs me too.
And #1 - I was a hobo (a backpacker hobo) in Mexico for a while and I rode the trains on the flatebeds for free. Was the only way to see the Copper Canyon in it's true glory, and I recommend it to anyone!!

I bite my nails too but I've been doing somewhat better. I have a couple that are growing out. I guess what helped me was making an effort to be more conscious of myself doing it.
I try to visit some people through the week but I don't have a lot of time for blogging so I don't get to visit as much as I'd like.
I saw a TV special on people riding the trains. They don't do it very much anymore because it has gotten so dangerous. Their used to be a serial killer that rode the trains and would kill other riders. I can't remember if they caught him.
